I'll be playing with some Kate Miller-Heidke and Transport tunes, playing through a couple of tracks from studio projects that I'm involved with (Medollic & The Stames). A second Byron Bay show (Nov 11th) has been added to "The Last Day On Earth Tour" happening throughout November. The updated tour details are below.

KATE MILLER-HEIDKE GOES PLATINUM!
Both the album "Curiouser" and the current single "The Last Day On Earth" have just achieved platinum status in Australia! Currently the album is sitting at #2 on the ARIA charts and the single at #3. Shows for the upcoming "Last Day On Earth" Australian tour have been announced and the details are below:

Back from the UK!
After a brief stint in the UK playing shows with Kate Miller-Heidke, Steve returns to Brisbane and back teaching 6 days a week at Billy Hyde Drumworx. Vacancies are limited so if you're keen to book in for some lessons contact Steve now! Things have been going great guns for Kate Miller-Heidke in Australia with the latest single "The Last Day On Earth", reaching as high as number 7 on the ARIA charts and the album Curiouser back in the top 40 and reaching the number 1 spot on the Australian iTunes charts! Look out for Steve playing an Australian tour with Kate in November.
Since being back home, Steve has also recorded an album for Mitch Barrington at James North Productions. You can check out Mitch's music at www.myspace.com/mitchbarrington

Steve-o-vision is back!!!
Catch Steve performing with Kate Miller-Heidke on Channel 7's "Sunrise" on Friday May 29. Kate will be performing her latest single "Caught In The Crowd" which recently took out the Grand Prize of the prestigious International Songwriting Competition. Tune in at around 7.40am to catch the performance.
More news on the Kate Miller-Heidke front... Steve will be off to the UK to play a few shows with Kate in late June and early July. Kate will be showcasing at the Musexpo Europe music conference to be held in London from June 29 - July 01. Kate will also be performing at Bush Hall in Sherperd's Bush, London on Thursday July 09. Kate Miller-Heidke's new album has arrived and debuted at number 8 on the ARIA charts! Steve will be touring with Kate throughout November to celebrate the launch of "Curiouser". Date's are listed below:

Back In Brisbane!
Steve is back in Brisbane after finishing recording on Kate Miller-Heidke's second album in Los Angeles. *Recording in LA!*
Currently Steve is in the process of recording in Los Angeles for Kate Miller-Heidke's second album. The album is being produced by Mickey Petralia who is the 'Flight of the Conchords' music producer and has worked with artists such as 'Beck' and 'Peaches'. The drums are being tracked at Sound City Studios where bands such as 'Nirvana', 'Rage Against the Machine', 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' and many more have recorded! Check Sound City Studios for the full client list. Stay tuned for album release and tour dates expected to be around late 2008.

DON'T MISS THE ARIAs!
Steve will be performing live on stage with Kate Miller Heidke at the ARIAs on Sunday Oct 28th. Tune in to channel TEN, the show begins at 7.30pm. Other performers include: POWDERFINGER, SILVERCHAIR, JOHN BUTLER TRIO, MISSY HIGGINS and SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM.

Steve is currently on tour with Brisbane's own ARIA nominated SONY BMG recording artist Kate Miller-Heidke. For performance dates in a town near you check out the Gig Guide. For those of you who missed Steve performing live with The KMH Band on ABC's "Side Show" check out the Media page to watch the video.
In September Steve also found the time to head into the studio at James North Productions and record with Lix Bacskay and James North on the upcoming Medolic debut release due out early next year.
