F.A.Q.
- What to bring to your first lesson? If it’s your first drum lesson ever it’s a good idea for you to at least bring sticks. It’s recommended that you have a practice pad for after your first lesson to practice the things you have learned in your lesson [sticks and practice pads are available upstairs at Billy Hyde Drumworx].
- If you have had lessons previously bring in any material that you have worked through… books, handouts etc so we can get a clear idea of what you have studied and where we can go to from there.
- Basic teaching times are Mon-Thu 3pm-9pm, Fri 3pm-6pm, Sat 10am-4pm, Sun 10am-4pm [Current students can login and check the calendar to see further availability].

- How do I get there? The teaching studio is located at Billy Hyde Drumworx 188 Barry Parade, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. It's only a coupe of minutes walk from Brunswick St Station, and bus stop. Free street parking is also available. Check out the Google Map below:
Lesson Prices
Half hour lessons:
Block of 5 - $150 ($30 per lesson)
Block of 10 - $270 ($27 per lesson)
Lessons which are paid weekly, individually, without the booking of a block are $35 for a half hour.
Hour lessons are available and the above payment system applies with a slight variation:
Block of 6 (half hour lessons) - $180 (equals 3 x 1 hour lessons)
Block of 10 (half hour lessons) - $270 (equals 5 x 1 hour lessons)
Lessons which are paid weekly, individually, without the booking of a block are $70 for 1 hour.
