I had the pleasure of having Dave Elitch visit my studio today to teach some lessons while he’s in town for the Australian Ultimate Drummer’s Weekend. Dave is a gun session player based in LA that has worked with the likes of The Mars Volta, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Antemasque and the list goes on.

Dave is also an incredible educator and I’ve been fortunate to study with him for the past 2 years both in person and via Skype. Myself and a bunch of other local players we’re lucky enough to book in some time with him while he was in town. Always a brain melting experience!
